You have a signature vibration. A unique sound that is yours alone. You can deepen your connection to it through meditation, prayer, or simply expressing the energy moving through you. But sometimes trauma, grief, or life experiences cause the voice to retreat inward until the body feels safe enough to open again.
Sound healing with voice is not about singing. It is about reclaiming the parts of yourself that have gone quiet. It is a sacred journey of expression, regulation, and remembrance. Your vibration, your sound, is potent medicine.
Within the safety of a private Intuitive Voice session, we work with sound, breath, resonance, and intuitive expression to support nervous system regulation, emotional release, and authentic self-expression.
Sound healing with voice is an intuitive, heart-centered practice that uses the resonance of your own voice to support healing on emotional, energetic, and spiritual levels. Each private session unfolds in response to your needs, guided by presence, curiosity, and care.
Together we may explore toning to calm and regulate the nervous system, channeled vocal sounds that arise intuitively in the moment, humming and overtoning, sacred syllables, the breath, or spoken affirmations to support energetic flow and emotional release. We may also work with vocal mirroring and guided expression to foster connection, trust, and embodied presence.
No vocal training is needed. This is not about performance or sounding a certain way. You only need your breath, your body, and a willingness to meet yourself where you are.
Your voice is more than sound. It carries energy, emotion, memory, and meaning. It holds the story of who you are, what you have lived through, and who you are becoming.
These sessions are an invitation to listen, express, and reconnect with your inner sanctuary. When the voice is met with safety and care, it becomes a pathway for self-expression, nervous system regulation, and self-trust.
Working with your voice intuitively can support the processing and release of emotions held within the body. It can also offer immediate grounding when the nervous system feels overwhelmed or activated. That’s because your own resonant vibration helps signal safety within the body, allowing you to soften into a parasympathetic state that supports rest, restoration, and repair.
Opening up your voice is a tender act of remembering. Your voice is an instrument of healing you were born with, one that can support you throughout every season of your life.
Our voice is one of the most direct ways to access the nervous system. When you hum, tone, chant, or move sound through your body, you can feel the vibration in your face and upper torso. These are places where many of us hold tension, grief, fear, and the emotions and experiences we’ve become accustomed to carrying.
From a physiological perspective, the vagus nerve moves through the throat, heart, lungs, and digestive organs, and it is connected to the breath and muscles we use to create sound. When we use our voice to find our resonant vibration and frequency, we signal safety to the body. When we make this a practice, we create a tool that can be accessed anytime to return to that safety.
or those who have experienced trauma, the voice can become guarded. The throat tightens. The breath becomes shallow. Words get swallowed before they are spoken. Working with sound in a private trauma-informed session gives the nervous system a gentle way to loosen old protective patterns and create more room for vocal expression.
While this work is open to all bodies and identities, it can be especially powerful for those who have been taught to quiet themselves, soften their truth, or make themselves smaller in order to stay safe. Reclaiming the voice is not only about making sound. It is about reclaiming choice, boundaries, truth, and power from the inside out.
So many of us have lost connection with our authentic voice through trauma, social conditioning, grief, or life experiences that made it unsafe to fully express ourselves. Remembering how to use the voice as a full expression of who you are opens the door to greater authenticity, clarity, and connection in every area of life.
Our work with the voice is not rushed. Instead, we listen, breathe, and allow the body to soften so the energy can move naturally.
Maybe you feel drawn to sound but do not know where to begin. Maybe you long to feel more grounded in your expression, more connected when you speak, sing, hum, or even whisper. Wherever you are, this is a place to begin.
This is not about performance. It is about returning to yourself.
“I am having a hard time finding words for how I’m feeling. Today I am feeling an expansion, an openness, and very grounded. I really resonate with using my voice as an instrument and adding mantra to my regular spiritual practices. It is no coincidence that this opportunity opened up right now.”
Sessions are available weekdays by appointment virtually or at GlassWing Medicine in Onalaska, WA.

Through vocal resonance, breath, sound, and subtle movement, we listen for what your body is ready to express and what your nervous system is ready to soften. This work can support grounding, emotional release, nervous system regulation, and old patterns around speaking, being heard, and trusting your inner voice. Nothing is forced. You are met where you are, and the session unfolds from there.

Each session unfolds in response to you and your nervous system. We may explore toning, humming, sacred syllables, channeled sound, breath practices, intuitive vocalization, or spoken word depending on what feels supportive in the moment. Nothing is forced or scripted.
This is not about improving your voice technically. It is a somatic and energetic healing practice that uses the resonance of your own voice to support emotional release, nervous system regulation, and deeper connection with yourself.
This is one of the most common things people bring into a first session, and it is completely welcome. Many people have learned to silence themselves over time. I meet you exactly where you are, without pressure or expectation. The voice tends to open naturally when it finally feels safe.
Yes. Every session at GlassWing Medicine is trauma-informed. I am a trauma survivor myself as well as a certified Neurosomatic Intelligence Coach. The pace is always guided by your nervous system, never by pressure or performance.
A single session can offer meaningful insight, release, and grounding. Many people find that ongoing sessions deepen their relationship with their voice and strengthen their capacity for self-regulation over time. I am always happy to discuss what rhythm of support may best serve you.
